Archery is for everyone! At Team 1 I teach three main Focus Groups for children: Recreational, Peer Coach, and Students Coach. No equipment needed! We have everything you need!
- Recreational students learn a system of Archery that is exciting and fast paced. If you think your just going to be standing around and shooting. . . think again. The Team 1 Archery System I created has 21 different historically accurate stances and positions, moving and shooting, moving targets and historical battle formations!
- Peer Coach is a special award children earn by learning how to teach others and pass on what they have learned. The person to person interaction help children begin to master face to face communication (essential for today's tech communication) and learn how to use their words to convey information, give and receive constructive criticism, and encourage others through positive re-enforcement.
- Student Coach is an additional award. Having completed the Peer Coach Award, children may now look to further their coaching skills to a larger audience. This becomes the basis in learning public speaking skills. Learning to address the group to convey information and give demonstrations explaining aspects of the class and leading a class through exercises. This really gives students a tremendous amount of confidence.
- Sniper Qualification is an elite award given only to the very best in our student body. Using only your bow and a glove you must :
- Score Bulls Eye with 16 stances at 10 meters
- Score Bulls Eye with 5 stances of your choice at 15 meters
- Shoot 3 arrows in under 8 seconds scoring Bulls Eye or Red on a target.
