Women's Self Defense! At Team 1 I teach three main Focus Groups of students: Personal Security, Small Group Instructors, and Professional Instructors.
- Personal Security teaches you a proven system of Women's Self Defense. You will build confidence in your everyday life, recognizing potential danger in daily situations, and learning to manage those situations with an acceptable outcome. You will learn easy to learn and easy to apply movements designed to fit a number of different applications. Learning less with multiple applications is the secret to dealing with stressful physical situations. The less you have to think the better reaction you're going to have.
- Small Group Instructor certifies you to teach small groups of 2-10 persons. Having completed the Personal Security Course two times, now you will learn the elements that make each technique work. You will learn tips to make your public speaking ability improve and how to create exciting demonstrations to keep your students positive. Pass on what you have learned with confidence by learning assessment criteria and evaluating group dynamics to maintain consistency of instruction within your student group.
- Professional Instructor certifies you to teach groups of 12 persons and up. You will learn how to make professional presentations at public speaking engagements and how to build your own program. You must have completed the Small Group Instructor Certification and have taught 4 completed courses on your own.
